FEMA/MERS Communicator Sign-up
To establish a second means of communicating with members, UT-TF1 is joining the FEMA Communicator System managed by FEMA/MERS in Denver. If the Task Force is activated in the middle of the night this system may be the first communication you will receive. This system is tested once a month and requires the user to put in a password for access to the message being delivered. This password is typically the Home Phone Number1 as indicated in this database, with the area code first. When all members have completed this form and the Task Force comes online with FEMA/MERS, we will send out a set of directions to each member on how to use the system.
To assist in establishing an accurate member contact list we are having the members fill in their own information. This information will then be imported into the FEMA/MERS Communicator database. Due to formatting requirements the FEMA communicator database does not require all fields to be filled out by the member. The following fields may be eliminated from your entry: User ID, Login Name, Numeric Pager Number and Numeric Pager PIN. If you do not have a second phone or email, etc. just leave the fields blank.
If you have any questions please contact Keith Bevan in the Task Force Office, (801)842-7742.
